Helen Chen

Helen has practiced law since 2011 and in 2020 joined Winkler Partners. Her practice focuses on helping clients protect their intellectual property rights, assisting them with dispute resolution as well as advising on contentious and non-contentious employment issues, reviewing commercial contracts and advising on general civil law matters.

Prior to joining Winkler Partners, Helen worked at a well-known maritime law firm in Taiwan, specializing in maritime law, insurance, international trade, business incorporation and employment dispute resolution. Helen has been involved in many notable maritime incidents in Taiwan’s waters, helping clients settle disputes over damages and has significant litigation experience. Due to her knowledge of international trade, insurance and the shipping industry, clients find her dispute resolution and litigation strategies particularly insightful.

Helen graduated from National Taipei University College of Law and is a member of the Taipei Bar Association. She speaks Mandarin, English and Taiwanese.
