Daniel Chen

Daniel is an associate in our corporate commercial practice group.  He routinely advises on a wide range of Taiwan corporate and commercial matters from initial market entry and entity structuring and formation issues to ongoing operational, regulatory and compliance matters.  Daniel also advises his clients with respect to acquisitions and divestments of their Taiwan businesses and assets.

Daniel has accumulated considerable dispute resolution experience in support of his corporate clients.  He has acted in both civil and criminal cases as well as in administrative appeals, claims against government agencies, and administrative litigation.   Daniel has particular expertise in handling domain name disputes under both the WIPO and the Taiwan Network Information Center’s rules.

Daniel’s clients operate in a broad range of industries including e-commerce, online gaming, manufacturing, insurance, and commercial real estate.  These clients range in size and sophistication from large foreign multinationals to Taiwanese SMEs.

Daniel holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in law from National Taiwan University and is admitted to practice in Taiwan.  A member of the Taipei and Kaohsiung Bar Associations, Daniel is fluent in  Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, and English.
