Ling-ying Hsu

Ling-ying has practiced law as an attorney in a professional firm and in the role of in-house counsel. Ling-ying’s practice focuses on copyright, trademark, trade secret protection, and licensing issues.

Prior to joining Winkler Partners, Ling-ying acted as Taiwan general counsel to an international software company where she advised on corporate governance and the incorporation and dissolution of subsidiaries.  Ling-ying has considerable experience of the software, hardware, gaming, and manga/anime industries.

Ling-Ying obtained her bachelor’s degree in law from National Taiwan University and received her LL.M. from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. Ling-Ying was admitted to practice in Taiwan in 2000. She speaks Mandarin Chinese and English.
