Brian Yang

Brian joined Winkler Partners in 2017. His practice focuses on tax issues with an emphasis on assisting foreign investors plan their investment structures and establish Taiwan entities. He also regularly provides support on intellectual property enforcement matters and related dispute resolution.

Brian previously advised clients on common legal issues and litigation surrounding intellectual property rights and white-collar crime at a well-known Taiwanese law firm. Brian’s clients have included a Taiwanese telecommunications provider, a global air-conditioner manufacturer, and several high-tech companies, which he assisted on service and product supply agreements and related dispute resolution.

Brian obtained his bachelor’s degree in law from National Taiwan University and holds a graduate degree in Technology Law from National Chiao-Tung University. Brian is admitted to practice in Taipei, Taiwan. He speaks Mandarin Chinese and English.
