Associates To Give Presentation at European Chamber Workshop
Associates Shan Lee and Marcus Clinch will be presenting at the European Chamber of Commerce Taipei's "ECCT SME Centre Workshop II" on Thursday, Dec. 6. Their topic will be common legal issues that foreign investors face in Taiwan when starting up businesses here.
Shan, a member of both the Taipei and New York bars, has extensive corporate transactional experience. Recent clients have included a family-owned U.S. manufacturer of specialized power transmission equipment that bought a Taiwanese supplier, a semiconductor technology company that opened a branch in Taiwan, and a London-based futures house with a joint venture in Taiwan.
Marcus, a member of the Novia Scotia Bar, is an intellectual property lawyer who specializes in privacy issues and brand protection. Marcus is also the acting co-chair of the European Chamber’s Beverage Alcohol Committee.
